Ahead of time

We have this digital clock that runs way ahead of time. In my reckoning the radio/clock gains a minute every 15 seconds.Would anyone know whether it needs repair or simply a 'reset' to make it run on time ?
Please do leave a comment,if you have a suggestion or know of someone who can fix this digital clock.
