OMR Toll Gate Monthly Pass

Friends
If you are already residing along the OMR & paying a toll fees, here is a suggestion for those who do not know. You can apply for a Monthly pass that costs only Rs.200 (car) & ply any number of times. The contact number of the Supervisor of OMR Toll Gate is 09600001051. An application needs to be filled-in with a proof copy that you are a resident of OMR & after a mandatory inspection of your apartement/villa/house, they issue the pass.

  6. When I got this annual pass in July, I paid Rs.100/- for the whole year. Initially, as a owner of apartment in Mantri, I gave the xerox copy of the title deed (UDS registration)and also copy of the construction agreement where your apartment number is mentioned. The RC book of the car should be in the name of the person owning the apartment and its xerox copy should also be submitted. While going to submit your papers, you should carry the originals of all the xerox copies being submitted. After submission of papers, that weekend Saturday, a person from the toll office will come to your apartment to verify whether you actually live there or not. If you go to Perungudi office the following Monday, they will issue the card instantly. When you go for renewal of the card after a year, you have to necessarily have your ration card or voter id card with the address on OMR. I don't know what is the procedure for those who are tenants. But you go to the office in Perungudi which is adjacent to the TOLL, they will guide you properly regarding the procedure for tenants.

    1. The procedure is pretty much the same for tenants as well. A copy of the rental agreement, RC book and any utility bill. And as you rightly said, upon verification you will receive a yearly pass for a Rs.100/-

  9. Is the process same for renewal ? WHat I heard is that for renewal, you need to submit either the ration card or passport with the address stating that you live along OMR ? In this case, how will tenants be able to renew ? OR is it fine if we produce the rental agreement for renewal ?

  15. I occupied my own flat at Perungudi just near the toll gate. Went to get the pass for residents. What I heard from pass section is that you need to submit any utility bill (EB/Water/Landline phone) though you have sale deed. So I'm approaching them again shortly.
