In response to an earlier post on 'camphor bowl' mosquito repellant a Mantri resident Jayanti wrote in, suggesting citronella candles as kid-friendly remedy. She wasn't, however, sure where one gets citronella.
Today's newspaper carries a brief note on the launch of Mortein NaturGard with citronella extracts. It is retailed as Aerosol pack (Rs.169 for 425 ml.) and Vaporiser combipack (Rs.70).
Mohan or Dandapani of Mantri clubhouse grocery shop can be persuaded to stock them.

How do we get rid of the smell ?
We sensed this indefinably disagreeable smell at Mantri's grocery store yesterday.The shop assistant admitted that the smell wasn't going away,even after cleaning the area with disinfectant. He attributed the smell to a case of rotten eggs that had found its way into the store. I have no doubt those manning the shop would in future ensure closer quality check of things they stock.
My point is: would anyone know how to get rid of the smell, just in case any of us have rotten eggs lobbed at us?
